Actor Michael J. Fox received a standing ovation during a surprise appearance at the British Academy Film Awards on Sunday.

Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, was presenting the best picture award and was introduced by BAFTA presenter David Tennant as a “true legend of cinema”.
